Role Objectives:
The District Manager is responsible for planning and effectively allocating resources to handle the district's performance in terms of order fulfilment and delivery. They play a crucial role in maximizing operational performance and efficiency in the main pillars of Breadfast Operations: Quality, Delivery, People, and Cost.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Optimize the resolution of bottlenecks that impede team members’ performance to enhance overall organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Analyze data around sales, and performance KPIs to make informed decisions on how to boost district revenues while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Be a Subject-Matter Expert on larger processes and activities within your site, i.e., 5s audits, alignment with Standard Work procedures across the network.
- Manage data collection to update operations metrics to achieve performance targets, reduce cost per order, eliminate errors and thus deliver excellent customer service.
- Work closely with other support teams (HR, Accounting, Warehouse, Facilities, IT) on staffing plans, schedules, and performance levels to enable the dark stores to attain Breadfast’s Business Plan.
- Drive continuous process improvement and make our customer experience better than ever.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree qualified in Engineering or a Supply Chain/Logistics/ Manufacturing related discipline.
- Lean operations, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies Certification is a plus.
- Be competent in two or more production or supply chain areas, with an impressive track-record in a similar fast- paced logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or engineering environment.
- Fluent English.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Possess the ability to manage detail, establish root cause and be able to extract and analyze data.
- Must be able to demonstrate effective problem-solving and analytical capability.
