Role Overview

This hybrid role combines agile leadership with hands-on QA. You’ll serve as the Scrum Master for cross-functional teams while actively contributing to automated and manual testing efforts, ensuring our releases are robust and bug-free.

Responsibilities

As Scrum Master:

• Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
• Coach team on Agile principles and remove blockers to help the team deliver on time
• Work with Product Managers and Engineering to ensure delivery alignment
• Track sprint metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.) and drive continuous improvement
• Foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and collaboration

As Quality Engineer:

• Design, write, and execute test cases (manual and automated) for web and mobile applications
• Build and maintain automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, or similar)
• Perform regression, functional, and integration testing
• Own the quality of releases, identify risks, and ensure high test coverage
• Collaborate with Dev and DevOps to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

• 3+ years as a Scrum Master in a software product environment
• 3+ years in QA (manual and/or automation)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
• Solid understanding of QA best practices and test automation tools
• Strong communication and facilitation skills
• Programming/scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar) a plus
• Experience in AI/ML or computer vision-based platforms is a bonus

Nice to Have

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certification
• Experience with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr)
• Familiarity with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
• Prior experience in startups or fast-paced environments
